Welcome to Savour Societies. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.savoursocieties.com (the “Website”), our mobile application (the “App”), and the services we offer collectively through them (the “Platform”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Platform. By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

2. Our Services
Savour Societies is a curated dining movement that helps people connect through small-group meals (“Tables”) hosted in participating restaurants and venues (each a “Partner Venue”). Our Services include:

The ability to browse and book curated meals via the Platform

Invitations to attend special events or beta dinners

Community features, including messaging and feedback options

Optional subscription packages and priority booking opportunities
We are a booking facilitator only. We do not own or operate the Partner Venues, and we do not prepare or serve food ourselves.
3. Eligibility
By using the Platform, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;

You are using the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes;

You are not prohibited by law from using the Platform;

You have not previously been banned or suspended from our Services (unless explicitly authorised to rejoin).
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account if we reasonably believe you no longer meet these requirements or have breached these Terms.
4. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

5. Booking & Payment
5.1 Booking
Bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must book via the Platform to guarantee a place at a Table.
5.2 Pricing
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include any applicable VAT. A small booking fee is added on top of the menu price, which is displayed transparently at checkout.
5.3 Payment
Payments may be processed through third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay). By using these services, you agree to their terms and conditions.
6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
6.1 Cancellation
You may or may not cancel a booking within the timeframe stated on the Platform (“Cancellation Window”) to receive a refund.

Cancellations within the Cancellation Window: Full refund via original payment method

Cancellations after the Cancellation Window: No refund
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension.
6.2 No-Shows
If you do not attend a booked Table, the payment is non-refundable. We reserve the right to suspend users who accumulate multiple no-shows.
7. Dietary Preferences & Venue Responsibility
We share your dietary preferences with Partner Venues where possible. However:

We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals or the availability of specific menu items

You are responsible for reviewing menus and notifying staff directly of allergies

We are not liable for food quality, service, or safety at Partner Venues
8. Community Guidelines
Savour Societies is a respectful community. You agree not to:

Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Use the Platform for commercial solicitation or illegal purposes

Share offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content

Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Breach of these guidelines may result in removal from the Platform and future events.
9. Content & Intellectual Property
All Platform content (logo, design, copy, etc.) is owned by Savour Societies Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without our written permission.
User-generated content (such as reviews, feedback, or photos) remains your property, but by posting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and share it in connection with the Platform and our marketing.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link]. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Partner Venues

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of opportunity, goodwill, or data)
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect when posted on the Website. If you continue to use the Platform after changes are published, you are deemed to have accepted them.
13. Termination
You may deactivate your account at any time through the Platform. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
