Savour Societies – Community Guidelines
Last updated: 29 / 9 / 2025
Savour Societies exists to help people meet, connect, and share meaningful meals together. We believe every table should feel warm, inclusive, and safe — a place where conversations can flow freely and friendships can form naturally.
To protect this experience for everyone, we ask that all members of our community follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
-
Treat fellow diners, restaurant staff, and the Savour team with kindness and courtesy.
-
Listen actively and allow everyone a chance to speak at the table.
-
Respect cultural differences, dietary choices, and personal boundaries.
2. Be Reliable
-
Honour your bookings or cancel within the stated cancellation window so another guest can join.
-
Arrive on time and notify us if you are running late.
-
Frequent late cancellations or no-shows disrupt the experience for others and may result in account suspension.
3. Be Safe
-
Follow all venue rules and public health guidelines.
-
Keep private information private — do not share other guests’ contact details or photos without permission.
-
If you ever feel unsafe, you may:
-
Speak discreetly to the restaurant staff if urgent
-
Contact us immediately at hello@savoursocieties.com
-
(If available) use the in-app Report button to alert our team
-
We review every report carefully and will take action to protect our community.
4. Be Curious
-
Engage with others with an open mind and genuine interest.
-
Use conversation prompts as a way to connect, not to dominate or control discussions.
-
Embrace the chance to meet people outside your usual circle.
5. Responsible Alcohol & Conduct
Some Savour tables may include wine, cocktails, or other alcoholic drinks. To keep the experience enjoyable for everyone:
-
Drink mindfully and stay within your limits.
-
Respect that some guests may not drink alcohol and create space for them to feel included.
-
Avoid any behaviour that could make other guests uncomfortable or unsafe.
6. What Not to Do
-
No harassment, hate speech, or abusive behaviour — online or at the table.
-
No spam, self-promotion, or sales pitches during events or in messages.
-
No illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or sharing of explicit/offensive content.
7. Repeat Offences & Escalation
To maintain a respectful environment, we track user behaviour across events.
-
First issues: We may send you a friendly reminder or warning.
-
Repeated cancellations or misconduct: May lead to temporary account suspension.
-
Serious or repeated breaches: Can result in permanent removal from Savour Societies.
These measures are designed to protect the community and ensure every guest has a positive experience.
Our goal is to create an inspiring space where everyone feels welcome, safe, and encouraged to come back again and again. Thank you for helping us make Savour Societiesa place where meaningful connections can thrive.
