Safety & Dining Etiquette

Savour Societies is designed for easy, enjoyable meals with small groups of 3–9 guests. To keep every table warm, welcoming, and safe, please follow the guidance below.

1) Before You Book

  • Come solo: Tables work best when everyone arrives as themselves.

  • Be reliable: If plans change, cancel within the stated window so someone else can join.

  • Dietary needs: Share them at booking and always inform venue staff on arrival.

  • Accessibility: Restaurant staff will always do their best to support step-free access and other needs. If you require assistance, please email us at connect@savoursocieties.com so we can coordinate with the venue in advance.

  • Alcohol: Some tables include wine/cocktails. Please drink mindfully and within your limits.

2) Arrival & Timing

  • Be punctual: Arrive 5–10 minutes early where possible.

  • Running late? Let the venue know and drop us a quick note at hello@savoursocieties.com.

  • No-shows: Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may limit access to future tables.

3) Conversation & Atmosphere

  • Be curious, not dominant: Share airtime and invite others in.

  • Respect boundaries: Steer clear of intrusive questions; accept a graceful “pass.”

  • Phones down: Quick photos are fine; then return to the moment.

  • Discretion: What’s shared at the table stays at the table unless everyone agrees otherwise.

4) Respect & Inclusion

  • All welcome: Different ages, backgrounds, and perspectives make a richer table.

  • Zero harassment: No abusive, discriminatory, or suggestive behaviour.

  • Consent matters: Do not touch or photograph anyone without clear permission.

5) Alcohol & Conduct

  • Drink mindfully: Keep it social, never excessive.

  • Comfort first: Respect that some guests don’t drink.

  • If things feel off: Take a pause, speak to staff, or contact us (see “If You Feel Unsafe”).

6) Networking & Special Tables

Most Savour tables are about sharing food and light conversation.
If a table is specifically intended as a networking event, it will be clearly marked as such in the booking description.

7) If You Feel Unsafe (during or after a meal)

  • At the venue: Discreetly speak to staff — they can help immediately.

  • Contact Savour: Email hello@savoursocieties.com or (if available) tap Report in-app.

  • Emergency: If you or someone else is in danger, call 999.
We review all reports carefully and may issue warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

8) Repeat Offences & Escalation

To protect the community, we monitor behaviour across events.

  • First issues: Friendly reminder or warning.

  • Repeat issues: Temporary suspension.

  • Serious or repeated breaches: Permanent removal from the Platform.

9) Quick Reminders (at a glance)

  • Arrive on time • Be kind • Share airtime

  • Ask before posting photos • Drink mindfully

  • Tell staff about allergens • Cancel early if you can’t attend
